Holiday Challenge #2

This has been an amazing year! I'm thankful for so many things... God has been more than gracious to us. All of my family is in good health, we have two additions, Bryce & Penelope.

I'm grateful for all of you, my readers. You bring so much joy to my heart. In only eight months we have had over 30,000 hits on this blog; something I do not take lightly. I feel a great sense of responsibility every time I publish a post. It is always my prayer that someone will be inspired, encouraged and empowered.

This week as our holiday challenge #2 my family & I went to feed the homeless in downtown Orlando. It was an overwhelming experience to say the least.

We arrived at 10:30am and there must've been over 100 people in line to be served at 12:00.  All ages & races.

My boys were helping  on the serving line & passing out water. They were especially impacted by a three year old boy holding out his little plate to be served. He had a dirty face, pants that were too small & a torn &  little shirt.

After being there for four hours we got in our car and just sat there quietly. My husband began to pray, it was most definitely a moment of gratitude.
