Holiday Challenge # 3

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, we drove down to Miami and spent a few days with my husband's mom's side of the family.  It was the first time we shared a holiday with them, I must say it was memorable. We were treated as if we had been sharing with them all of our lives; my boys loved the experience.  Oh and I tried fried turkey for the first time.... IT CHANGED MY LIFE hahaha loved it.

Ok so I was brain storming about what to do with my boys this Wednesday since we have declared every Wednesday until Christmas "serving/helping someone" days; I came across this video and a light bulb turned on.      http://videos.huffingtonpost.com/random-acts-of-kindness-brings-holiday-presents-to-one-family-517599165

The boys have had a piggy bank for about two years now, today I will ask them if they would like to turn that money into Christmas presents and adopt a needy family.  I will let you know how that goes...

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season.... we have so much to be grateful for.  I want to share a little bit of our holiday traditions with you.  Every year we host a "theme" family Christmas party, this will be the sixth year.  Last year we topped the guest list at about 40 people.  It's truly a blast, my boys enjoy the planning as much as they enjoy the party lol  This year the theme is "ELF" so the search has begun.  Here are some pics from our previous years. Our first year was green & red (I don't have any pics) then we had red & gold, candy cane, winter wonderland and last year green & white.   We always invite someone that doesn't have family to spend the holidays with us; we are blessed by them.  LOVE MY FAM!

Share the love this holiday season..... thanks for reading!
